Jamie_Trials
Wouldn't bother with the sl lever, had one before, it was powerful but always seemed abit spongy even after about 15 attempts to bleed it Had a trialtech bb too, only used it for about 6 months until i got rid of the bike, never had a problem with it. Duncy H
In the past I have used an echo tr brake which worked perfectly fine for me even with a water bleed. However that was with magura slaves. The lever shape on the tr's was awesome, most comfiest lever out there and the shape is also on the sl lever too i think. I used an sl brake quite a while back and it seemed to cope ok with an oil bleed. It was never really an amazing brake but that was at a time when I didn't know what I was doing Maybe the newer models are better? My best recommendation would be to get a magura brake and replace the lever blade with an echo sl one
Mikey-uk
I'm sick of everyone quoting the same 'echo brakes must leak' bullshit. Mod Mark used to run them as far as I know and they were fine, he even mentioned somthing about it was only a bad batch that leaked. I've also ridden a bike with an Echo TR (I know its a different brake but same concent) and it was amazing, even without a booster it felt amazing solid.
