As I still want to ride trials but more park too. Not sure what to say either ha, help me ? Cheers, Luke.
Mat Tea Why
I moved from a mod to 24 so I'm not very much clued up on stocks, however I can tell you about 24. Presuming you will be opting towards a streetier bike rather than a more trials orientated 24 such as the kabra, it will probably be the most fun bike you have had - it certainly is mine! I'm running a Marino frame with near enough Inspired geo. I was expecting it to be very difficult to control for trials, but it sits on the back wheel well and is fine for regular trials riding if a little more difficult. Of course it will never quite be as good for park as something like a USB etc, and never quite as good for trials as a kabra/because-trials. However, it is probably the best compromise
mods
Anyone gone from a mod to pure trials 24? Would be interesting to hear view on this.
Revolver
Me, two years ago, lol Although two years ago it was only the zoot and the ciguena, both have streety geos really. Edited June 12, 2010 by Revolver
Skoze
Get an Inspired/ Zoot and do everything, they're pretty well suited to being a multi-role rig. Not for me though, too trialsy. I'll stick to short steel things made in a man called Clive's shed.
Mark W
I guess the difference is that - from the photos of your bike from a while back - you run a longer stem than someone like me who rides an Inspired. I've got the Hope 70 x 25 on mine at the moment and it feels really nice, but I quite like the 'long frame/short stem' setup (it's the same type of setup I run on my BMX too). With the right setup, there's no reason an Inspired should feel 'too' trialsy, although a lot of people seem to run quite long stems on them which sorta reduces their streetyness. Yeah Ive been looking into the Inspired, would it be worth buying a full bike or just build one up in parts?
Matthew62
You WILL NOT regret it. I certainly never have - i could never go back to a stock now i have my inspired. At last trials is fun again, like it used to be.
Mark W
Yeah Ive been looking into the Inspired, would it be worth buying a full bike or just build one up in parts? Either our 'spec 1/2/3' full builds or the Inspired full builds are pretty good value for money and have a sweet setup straight out of the box, but go with whatever you can afford really. Yeah Ive been looking, they look sweet as, money is not a problem, been looking at either buying a full build one or just get one done from scratch. Duncy H
I have both mod and a 24 (well not got a mod now) and the 24 has to be the most fun I have had on a bike in a long time! You loose the trialsy edge that a mod or stock gives you but you gain with the more bmxy type moves. They handle/feel closer to that of a stock rather than a mod. I reccomend running two bikes, one pure trials bike and another 24" that is more streety orientated

Dan Clark
Will the Zoot forks be sold separately? They look nice.
Joe@Onza
Yep, its gonna here in a few months, £119.99. Yes Mark, Inspired from the woodstock BB yoke, a Sunday BMX inbuilt pivotal seat post, the drop outs from our new 2010 range and from people saying they would like tad shorter 24" frame to be available. Matt Vandart
Joe/Mike I have to say that kit looks f**king awesome. I had a go of the new Zoot in my local bike shop and it is a fab bike which is getting alot of attention. I have to say ONZA have been pulling it out of the bag for a good while now and am really pleased to see a British company producing such impressive products one after the other, cannot wait to see this 'trialsy' 24. ONZA rims are in my opinion the best you can get. Having said that this lot ^^^^^^^ is very tempting I really like the attention to detail. All you need now is some amazing 26/20" forks some better hubs and one could make an EPIC ride from almost totally ONZA products. I can see a hole appearing in the market from rumors I have heard and I hope ONZA fill it. Before anyone burns me I am not brown nosing I just genuinely believe it. Joe@Onza
Thanks Matt, Forks and hubs are on the way, Dont expect anything revolutionary but we have been following the trends and hopefully will deliver the goods. Frame set is sweet, look out for a full build with the NEW ONZA HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES! Joe/Mike I have to say that kit looks f**king awesome. Mike Poyzer @ Onza
Naice mian! @ Mike Poyzer-- bit off topic, but do you still have any 140mm Tensile cranks anywhere in your stores? We actually never made Tensiles in 140 for bikes. They were only made for our Trials Unicycle and so were effectively two left hand cranks. Sorry. Yes Mark, Inspired from the woodstock BB yoke, a Sunday BMX inbuilt pivotal seat post, the drop outs from our new 2010 range and from people saying they would like tad shorter 24" frame to be available. Wasn't necessarily the frame I was refering to... In any case, I'm glad someone's done an integrated pivotal post. I've semi-integrated mine on my Inspired now and it's just a lot lighter, cleaner and simpler. Think I still prefer the black finish for the complete Zoot compared to the frame-kit, but one look at my bike would probably explain why
