Jakob S.
Hi Guys, Just a question. Settings up a new Zoo lynx from only new parts, just wanted to know if the KHE Half link chain with hollow pins is a good one for trials. Best Regards, Jakob S. Box
Half link chains result in death. Avoid. (They stretch loads and snap relatively easily...)

Borat
Hollow pins?
Jakob S.
Hollow pins? Yes! I should be really strong as it's intended to use on a BMX were they grind on de sprocket and the chain itself. Does'n't sound like a good idea to me, but what i thought is: in trials you are putting alot of pressure on the chain so it streches etc. best regards, an thanks for the reply. Jakob S. N.Wood
Trialtech lite chain AKA KMC Z510 (or something, cant remember off the top of my head) available from Tartybeys.co.uk
315r
Half link = die. KMC have a good balance between weigh and resistance.
indianatrials
Echo TR! Very light (much more than a kmc) and i have never heard of one braking, theyre very pimp too. =)

Dan Clark
Available for £6ish cheaper if you don't mind having a KMC box instead of a Trialtech one.
Jakob S.
Really thanks for all the replies, me was offered a halflink chain for 15 euros. so its cheap. ill stick with the kmc chains instead. Luke Rainbird
A 510 or 610 will be spot on. I've been running an Z610 HX for years now (replacing it from time to time, obviously!) and can't see any needd to run anything else
Joe O'Connor
Why do people worry about the weight of their chains! Its just as bad as roadies!
