Alle.C
Hi! when I'm out driving, it something that cracks anyone know what it is ? , it whasn't long time ago I changed freewheel, is it something with the chain or what ? :( Edited May 20, 2010 by Alle.C
Adam Griffiths
you could do with being more specific with where on your bike the cracking sound is coming from. Most bikes crack and crunch as you ride them around its just parts settling in to place.
N.Wood
Probably: Bar/stem interface Headset Bottom bracket bearings/threads Pedal bearings/threads Freewheel bearings (unlikely) Crank/BB interface Rear axle snapped/bearings Check all of those/try and narrow it down to a specific part of the bike. TROYston
It could be a worn out piston. Or maybe your fan belt is on its last legs. Edited May 20, 2010 by TROYston

Odd Socks
Hi, It would be a good idea to go round and check all the bolts and nuts on the new stuff that you have put on and make sure that nothing has worked it's self loose. Tim

JD ZHI
If you have bought a new freewheel, but not a chain or a rear sprocket, it could just be skipping.
Alle.C
OK guys, I have changed the chain (it was to old anyway) but there is still this "cracking" sound, and sometimes if I spin the cranks backwards right after one of those sounds, it sounds like something crunches ! it sounds like it comes from the freewheel or the BB please help me I'm almost to afraid to drive Edited June 21, 2010 by Alle.C
