Tom Canham
I have a rear Hs33 and it has been working fine until recently. It has started to rub to the rim every now and then. I have noticed that when you let go of the brake the brake pad does not move all the way back to the original position and is rubbing on the wheel. It is only on one of the sides. Any help would be good. Thanks Tom
Thebigdoug2010
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but sounds like you got a lazy piston! Take it off, press fully on the lever to extend the piston and grease it up. Should do the trick (I think)
Tom Canham
I think that i have got it working now, the brake still holds and no more rubbing. Hopefully its stays all right for a bit now

monty-james
Did you check if the pad was sticking to rim because it was covered in tar?
Tom Canham
Did you check if the pad was sticking to rim because it was covered in tar? there was no tar on the pad from what i saw, i think that it was just a tpa problem.. but they move.. and the mount bolts are quite tight.
