Gmp Frames

Just wondered if anyones had or used a GMP frame before?

Im thinking of building up a mod as a second bike instead of the heavy tools and spotted one of these cheap so wondered if its worth getting as a starting point.

the geo on them is prety good, throw on some good vee's and pads, a decent freewheel an they'd be rideable, don't spend alot on it though...

Guessing you mean the old GMP trials frames not that abomination above. They getting on a bit now so check for cracks in the paint work that could indicate areas about to fail. I remember thinking they were pretty nice at the time but they must be 5+years old now

Yeah thats the one, there was a 20" and 26" frame on ebay for £20 each but thought I'd give it a miss in the end. It was very ugly and I scoured the net trying to find something out about them but couldn't find a thing so thought they'd be not very good!

Was lookin at the 20" really. As I'm gettin this zenith fixed an sprayed up the heavy tool will be made reduntant, was gonna rebuild it with oldskool bits as a 2nd ride but thought I'd get a mod instead an try an sell the heavy tools frame.
