What Forks For 24" Zoot

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Just got myself an Onza Zoot 24 (the old style, not the 2010 one) but its in need of some new forks.

It's currently got a maggie on the front so would be easier for me if the new fork had 4 bolt.

Or is it going to be easier to just get some disk forks & buy a disk brake?

I don't want to break the bank but i don't want to pay peanuts for something that will just break real soon.

Cheers,

Jake :)

Zoot forks?

Not much choice to be honest dude.

Yeh i didn't think there'd be much choice.

Any idea where to get the stock forks from??

Front disc is better really, lol.

I used echo control forks on mine, I think. Or whatever the not-urbans set of forks echo made where, I can't remember.

You don't have many options for 24" rim brake, whereas any 26" disc forks will work. If you've not got the budget for a disc brake too, get the because ones.

why dont you just get the ones the bike originaly came with??

Because they are terrible, and crack/snap really easily.

For rim brake set up you will have to go for either the because or echo urban forks, my choice from the two would be the urbans as i trust them more as a brand. But for the dogs danglies you would have to go inspired (Y)

Thanks mate, I definitely can't afford a disc as well. Well not until next month, but i will keep this in mind. If i did go down this route, which forks would you recommend??
