Yea it will take you between 10-12 hours on the train and cost about £100.... so I vote drive.... lol

Really lol hmm. I'm thinking about gettin the boat to southampton and driving from there. Bit more research needed i think.

Whats everyone else doing from down this end?

I was in Portsmouth yesterday.... :o its 180 odd miles to swansea and cost me £40 there and back, So itd probably cost about £80 there and back to the big NW. Start sharing lifts etc.....

Driving is the way :)

Really want to go to this, but having probs with travel. Looking at trains it was going to be stupidly expensive, £90 ish quid return and a 5/6 hour journey. Car sharing would be probably be the best bet.

Mods, If you decide to drive dont suppose you have a spare seat? I'll pay petrol money.

If you've not got a railcard yet, if you buy a railcard that'll cost you £20, but it'll reduce your ticket price by about £30 so you'll end up saving money on this particular journey, and then in future too...

Well i was going to drive but.. my dad owns my van and he has decided he doesnt want me taking all that way <_<

Have a look at coach prices, you can get them ridiculously cheap sometimes

Coach sounds great. Be good to get everyone on this and all chip in. Just leave a few seats free for the bike lol

Would be cool to get up there on a cheap one for us southern lads. I'll have a look out for some deals. If anyone spots anything put a shout up here. Plus i think it would be awesome going up ina big group like that. Meeting new people and all that.
