hugo bashall
Hi all, I have a pair or hs11's on my mod onza t-bird. I find them fine for small kind of flatland stuff like 360 pivots and pedal kicks ect, but when it comes to getting up something, or when im on a ledge were I need them to hold they slip through. its so frustrating. I have grinded my rims and put new pads in but that hasn't seem to done the trick. anyone have any offers on how to make them stronger? thanks Hugo.. tomsutton
Try a rebleed, or il do it. Also how far are the pads away from the rim? They may just need set up properly. Tom

Tom the pads are fine and it doesn't feel like it needs bled, it bites nice and quickly just not strong enough maby me and you should do a water bleed? made yours nice. you could try a booster on your brakes,, or buy hs33. i had hs11 on my t bird, and to be honest they are abit pants for trials. what exactly does a booster do? thanks hugo.. matthew_coggan
Am also going with the pads are to far away from the rim Hs11 brakes are gay as the piston doesnt come out as far in the cylinders due to the leaver not allowing you to, so it might be worth a try moving them in closer. t-comp-kierz
What pads are you using?
Riley1
I used HS11's a few years ago and once set up properly they do the job ok to be fair. Make sure they the brake pads hit the rim square on and not from an angle, and have the brake pads fairly close in and the pad adjustment on the lever (which if I remeber is an allen key bolt under the lever near the master cylinder?) is at a low setting, (hope that makes sence). Also , if your running a HS11, I'm guessing they are on a 2 bolt frame/fork? If so (and your not running a booster) then the frame will flex a good un as a 2 bolt frame will not have a built in booster, frames / forks with a specific 4 bolt attachement for Magura's normally allways have some type of reinforcing to stop the power of the piston pushing the frame / forks out when they hit the rim. Hope this helps.
trials owns
oil etc on the rims make the performance rubbish not sure on growned rims thought, that may be why.
