Sam Styles
why dont you just take the bash plate off and then leave it? if you cut the mounts off, it could possible look worse then the mounts. and plus you could mess it up

Matt Vandart
thats crazy lmao! what is the length of you bb?? How badly is it rubbing? If it's not too bad it'll sort itself out soon enough. Also what length bb? is that causing it? Edit: missed above comment Edited May 9, 2010 by Matt Vandart
joea
you would be better off getting a a longer bb ten it will not Rube on the frame if that dose not work file off the frame
Cahill Trials Kid
If you are going to cut it off, grind it off with an angle grinder, just take your time about it, and i probaly wouldnt try and take it all off, just a leave a tiny bit of it, that way you no you arnt going to grind any of the frame
PeanuckleJive
Get a wider BB, if the chain is rubbing the chances are you're using the wrong size either that or the bashring you're using is about a mile too thick and pushing your chain line too close to your frame.
