Stew87
Hey, Anyone got any suggestions for a decent 24" bike for a beginner? Eyeing up a 24" kobe tribal just now, 6 speed, front suspension, V-brakes. Anyone happen to know if this is a good start off point? Cheers, Stew
isitafox
How much money you wanna spend an what kind of riding you looking at doing? Buying a front sus bike means the first thing you'll be doing is spending more money to get some new forks on it!
Stew87
Got a couple hundred stuck away if ah was to go buy one tomorrow, given a couple month ah will probably be able to spend a bit more. Was thinking something cheap, and upgrading it bit by bit.. Will most likely be riding street. Just love how everything has potential to be an obstacle

Stew87
Just out of interest what is a Kobe Tribal?? Searched on the net and can't find anything! It's basically a cheap bike...bout £120 out my work. 6 speed, front suspension, 24" wheels, low seat, standard V-brakes. Am not to worried bout adding bits to it, as I have access to all the tools ah would really need. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d106/stewart-main-/Pictoor-0007.jpg Edited May 5, 2010 by Stew87

You'd be better saving up and getting something like this from tartys, specing up a new build for them or yourself to knock up or looking for something 2nd hand on here in my opinion.
