MadManMike
There's a new event around here that has DJ's such as Anne Savage, Andy Whitby, Cally Gage and a few others booked for the future. The guy that runs it said I can have a set if I give him a promo mix (This helps determine what time is best for me to play). I've gone for fairly hard stuff so probably will get last set. Anyway, enjoy... 1. Defective Audio - 15v Pickup 2. Defective Audio - Don't Ever Stop 3. Future Resonance - Dark Society 4. Ross Homson - Ripped Dipped 5. Nik Denton & Ben Stevens - Piano Factor [JP & Jukesy Remix] 6. Defective Audio - Detroit 7. Paul glazby - Paranoid 8. Wil H - Dog Eat Dog 9. Ross homson - Nerd Burger 10. Rich Resonate - Plasmacaster 11. Defective Audio - Overdrive 12. Defective Audio - oh my god Download Here

Max Quinn
Out of curiosity Mike, what are the general taboos in the house/trance (sorry whatever this is i'm not too clued up haha) scenes of mixing 2 tunes by the same artist in a row? Isn't really done in d&b unless you're the artist who's made the tunes. Not a dig at all, just curious as to how it differs.

It varies to be honest, some people say it's cheating (I can't get my head around that - it's no different to mixing any other track of the same genre!) In hard house it's quite difficult not to sometimes, you'll find that most tracks are produced by the same few producers - for instance a guy called Technikal makes most hard trance tracks these days and you can tell by signature sounds / techniques used. I did go a little overboard with the Defective Audio tracks but I love their stuff haha PS, it's not house or trance Thanks for the comment Sam
