casualjoe
What was so bad about it?
articrider65
No, the story isn't amazing, its just its so well made in 3D !
Krisboats
Yep, it was okay in HD, but brilliant in 3d. It was so amazing because they pioneered a new 3d technology just for this film and they did a damn good job of it. Next film to feature it is the new resident evil one i think. isitafox
Don't know if anyone on here will remember a cartoon movie from years ago called Ferngully:The Last Rainforest but if they do its basically the same just not in 3D, and also terrible.Although this is just my opinion so I welcome peoples comments who enjoyed the film, can't stand when people say they don't like something and won't accept otherwise, especially the old XBox v PS3 argument!! bikeperson45
What was good about it was the visuals and the whole world they made for it, like Star Wars but way better picture. The plots not amazing but still, I'd definatly watch it again in 3-D

Greetings
I just can't see how that works, is the story different in the 3d version?! Well yes, the characters are more three-dimentional.
JDâ„¢
Well yes, the characters are more three-dimentional. I watched it last night in *cue gasp* STANDARD DEFINITION *told you* and I actually thought it was quite good. Being as I had thought it would be shit, I had no hopes to be dashed, so just enjoyed it for what it was - a modern take on a very old storyline. konstant
It has to be watched in an IMAX for the full experience. I watched it the night it came out at the Printworks IMAX in Manchester and was blown away. Edited May 4, 2010 by konstant
mr_malcolm
it is defiantly a modern day fern gully, For example when home tree is destroyed I swear they just used ferngully for the entire story board of that bit. Still I like it.
Revolver
In 3D it was brick-shitting. However it actually depends on the cinema's 3D system. My brother saw it twice, first with me at showcase with a red and blue based system, and second at cineworld with a polarizing system, I think, and it was worse at the second one. I've got it on DVD but I've yet to watch it in SD.
