Any tips on how to improve my photoshop skill would be good

That's ace. You should put more shading where the orange stops, like at the bottom of it.

True, shade a little more, they look too bright and that makes them unnatural. But anyways good job, looks really wicked.

Shading yeah like the other said but you might want to try applying a hue filter to 'tone' down and make it look more natural, another way I use to do stuff like this is to make a new layer and apply a colour in the drop down box and make the 'orange' have a darker mask over it to make it blend in a little more?

Do you use the pen tool to cut around the image? the edges look a little rough, maybe a tiny blur on a 2mm border might help there?

Just something I messed with using these types of techniques, I no PS master but hope it helps?
