cai Posted April 24, 2010 Report Share Posted April 24, 2010 It does Jack-shit difference, compared to having it on top. yes it does. the booster on top is there for when the wheel rolls backwards it the brake flexs into the booster, when it goes forward it goes into the frame. so having it underneath would make a difference, hence why you get better hold with a booster. monkeyseemonkeydo Posted April 25, 2010 Report Share Posted April 25, 2010 The way I see it the one under the frame is a 'frame booster/brace' that is to reduce stress on the frame itself and reduce the liklihood of cracking. A booster on top will act more as a 'brake booster' and reduce the movement of the brake cylinders when you use the brake and give the lever a more solid feel.
