tomsutton
Just bled my magura hs33 underwater. For some reason one piston doesnt move. The piston on the slave bleed screw doesnt move in, the other piston moves out loads. Is that because i havent bled them for long enough? Juhoman
You can try oiling the piston. Because the water doesn't lubricate the pistons as the oil does they get lazy over time. If that doesn't do the trick there must be air in the system. Loads of it. So try lubricating the pistons and remember to redo the lubrication every now and then to keep em going. stooie
Hi just sharing my experience really had a play around with different fluids for maguras water etc but have found a noticable reduction in problems like sticking pistons when i use a mix around 50/50 water and a decent antifreeze with corrosion inhibiters , shell petrol stations sell a good one. PeanuckleJive
oil your pistons with gt85, sorted. Grab the little nubby that the pad clips onto with a pair of molegrips, and pull the piston out (be VERY careful not to snap it off) and then give em a good spray with gt85, do this every so often to keep your brakes alive
