Joe O'Connor
Hey, I was just wondering what peoples thoughts on the Echo Urban are? like, How good for Bmx are they? they look quite trials orientated. They look real nice too.
Mark W
They do ride really nice with the right bar and stem setup (something like an Onza PZ31 85mm x 20° stem would be ideal, or the 75mm Hope stem), but the Inspireds do feel a bit better for it. I just switched from the Urban to an Inspired purely 'cos I rode Stan's and with the slightly shorter front end it just makes them ideal for bunnyhops and spins. Couldn't get 360 hops on my Echo at all, pretty much got them on my Inspired now. Looks wise, I do quite like the look of the Echos, but the Inspireds look better proportioned. I doubt you'd have strength issues with the Echos either, but you can guarantee you won't with the Inspired. If you're buying new, then I reckon the Inspired would be the one to go for. If you're going second hand and you've got a good offer on the Echo then it might be worth it

Its just that I can get an Echo Urban new from a dealer 30 mins from my house for about 700 pounds, compared to 1500 pounds for an Inspired Fourplay from tartybikes! haha. Mark W
It just depends on the spec, really. Is it the replica of the Echo 24" on the Echo site, or a custom spec?
Joe O'Connor
Well, I dont like the look of the one on the Echo site, would probably want one like on tartybikes, but I would be able to customize it when I order it, I would say.
