im after a new back rim 19" as mine is now on its last legs, i want something light and that can hold a good grind what would you recomend? as i have had a try all that was alrite with a grind lasted about 1 month, dob rim lasted a few days and trialtech about the same as the tryall, after something whichc holds a grind better, and those rims have been ground by mutliple people and have still come back with the same results, so its not my crap grinding, pretty interested in the onza diamond, any one got any verdicts on that or any other recomendations?

I'd imagine it wouldn't be as good as the Trialtech or Try-All for grinds. Should be reasonably similar to the V!Z rims, so they seem to be a bit hit and miss for different people. My Trialtech SL rim seemed to hold a grind reasonably well though, for what it's worth...

TNN LGMs, water-bled Magura, Trialtech Sport 2-bolt booster, Lynx frame, standard 4-bolt clamps. Think that's everything (Y)

im running the new rb lever, that hope kevlar hosing, magura pistons, try all 2 bolt booster, viz clamps, tnn pads. on the onza rim it was amazing but on my trialtech rim its gone a bit wank to be honest, both with fresh grinds, any ideas mark?

Wank in what way? (Comedy phrase :P) Is it the bite or hold you're not liking, or both?

on the onza rim they were bitey as f**k and really well hold, on the trialtech rim (both with the same fresh grind) has f**k all bite but good hold. not amazing though.

I'm not sure if it was you I was talking to on Sunday? I was on a massive Coustellier V2 doing shit :P

I reckon the pads have just worn a bit funky to be honest...the hold was there just no bite

the pads are set up nice and sqaure mate, and yer that was me talking to you on sunday :)
