Max Quinn
Literally just came to post this What a savage loss to Hip Hop. Amazing lyricist and immense vision, his solo Jazzmatazz series is incredible as well as all his work with Gangstarr. Apparently he's known he had cancer for a while but kept it under wraps. Suddenly makes 'Moment of Truth' sound even deeper "And like they say, every dog has it's day. And like they say, God works in a mysterious way. So I pray, remembering the days of my youth, as I prepare to meet my moment of truth." Edited April 20, 2010 by Max Quinn

craigjames
Thats a real blow to Hip Hop, one of the originals and the best in my opinion. Listened to a lot of Gang Starr in college, awesome lyrics and amazing beats. Sad times.

MadManMike
Hip Hop... real Hip Hop, not the kinda trash that floods the charts. The kinda artist that did his bit to build the genre to what it is now.
