Rusevelt
Who would have imagined this outcome at the start of the afternoon session, former 6 times world champion Steve Davis currently leading 6-2 against defending 2009 world champion John Higgins. Rusevelt
Breaking news that defending world snooker champion John Higgins, is the centre of attention of a match-fixing allegation published by 'The news of the world' newspaper. The posted video clip basically shows higgins and his manager accepting a 300,000 euros bribe to lose in 4 different matches later this year. The whole thing looks like some kind of mastermind set-up with the News of world yet again being the first newspaper to break the news. Regardless of the outcome for john higgins, the News of the world should finally be put under investigation into their sleazy dealings into how they are always first to deliver this type of breaking news. I guess we'll find out something within the next 24-48hrs after this afternoon's world snooker final clash between Neil Robertson, and Graeme Dott. Higgins from the outside doesn't seem like that sort of character but then watching him on tv is hardly going to properly inform you about that sort of thing. I am holding some reservation about how definite this is but it does seem pretty definite having watched the video. I guess there could be a context outside the video that changes things though. With the recent concerns of snooker in decline this can hardly help
Rusevelt
Well now that world number one snooker champ John higgins has been suspended from future matches pending investigation, the best thing he can do is to be honest and frank about the circumstances of that meeting in Kiev, especially since his manager Pat Mooney, has already issued a statement that they were both in fear of their lifes which would support the story that they just agreed to these syndicate criminals to get out of that hosile situation that they were in and get out of the country asap. This is not the only time that The News of the World newspaper have grabbed the headlines when it comes to publishing stories about professional sportsmen being involved in scandal, which is why believe the whole thing is a set-up. Ask yourself this, why is the camera perfectly positioned on John Higgins and his manager Pat Mooney?
