My mate has been run one for 4 years and still hasnt snapped! You can pick one up fairly cheap from Chain Reaction - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=40831 Hope this helped, San

monkeyseemonkeydo
Shadow chains seem to be really hit and miss- I've heard of lots falling apart within a few weeks. Don't think I'd never run one...
rab shropshire
yeah im really sceptical with half link chains but i would think a single link would be fine

davey1991
i will consider it in my options anyone else had any dealings with halflins Yes, first ride, first sharp kick on the pedals, first link snapped. Fixed and had snapped clean in 2 places by the time i got home. This was with pretty much spot on chain line and reasonable but not stupid chain tention, one may be ok, many is stupid.
