Revolver
The problem with the axle being loose is it's meant to come out. The problem with the axle being too big is it's 12mm The problem is, you bought a hub designed for a downhill bike. Stick with what you know. You now have to sell this hub on... Danny
You need an axle conversion kit as said above you've bought a 12mm bolt through axle hub. Theres a kit similar to this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=5274 but for the hope xc. CRC don't seem to stock it any more but you should be able to get one somewhere. Matt Burrows
As hes bought a Bulb, that is actually the kit he needs. But personally I'd sell the hub on and buy the right one instead, will probably work out cheaper
Danny
Oh it could be a bulb actually matt as you say They just had a slightly fatter shell and more engagements right?

Revolver
It will if it's a pro II and not a bulb or XC...
