Captain Scarlet
This question probably has a real simple answer, but to cut a long story short, I have a set of rear sd7 arms which don't clear the tyre on my mod. I'm tempted to put them on the front as they will probably clear the front tyre, but what actually makes them front or rear?

Only difference is the noodle provided, front has a 90degree and rear has a 135degree i think.
AdamR28
Correctamundo. For some setups, the front actually works better than the rear on the rear.
Captain Scarlet
Sorted! cheers chaps. I'm running reverse mounted Echo's anyway, so the noodle didn't really matter. All done and set-up, been ages since I've run a front rim brake!
matthew_coggan
yeah i had the same problem on my bike the SD7 rear calipers were 2 small for my tyre so i swapped them for my Shimano Acera ones that were on the front and taller. and am having no problems at the moment.
