koxxboy14
As I am getting better I want to start comps. I have been riding for 5 months and can only do the basics. For example crank hop. Will I be good enough to enter?

Laurence--Trials
5 months? Try riding for another 7+ months first.
PeanuckleJive
5 months? Try riding for another 7+ months first. why? in what way is time even nearly relative to how good you are? I know guys who've been riding far less time than me but who are way better than me. You think grapes are good for your brakes, just shut up. Go for it if you wanna try comps, try the easy route. If it's too easy for you, try the next one up, get a feel for what class you should be in. Most of all, just enjoy it. Don't let it get to you and ruin your trials experience, just go have fun and try your best.
trial1966
Just go ahead and enter a comp. In my club there is are two beginer routes for different ages. It does not matter how long you have been riding. Also in the low routes you don't use crank hops that much
