I'm building up a ZOO! Lynx Duel-Disk! As new parts arrive and get built onto the frame I'll take pictures and add them to the thread :)

So far i want to thank Jordan for the brand new cheep ZOO! Lynx DD frame at £180 and the parts he will be getting for me (wheels, forks, bashplate, stem)

and of corse tartybikes for their fantastic, speedy postage with my Tyres, Grips, Tubes, Rear Sprocket, Cranks, Headset And the free T-shirt.

The headset is half built on the frame if anyone notices.

Geo:

WB: 1020mm

Chainstay length: 362mm

BB rise: +55

Predicted weight: 9.443kg

Spec:

Frame and Forks

- Frame: ZOO! Lynx Long Duel-Disk

- Forks: Echo Urban Disc, Black

Wheels

- Front Wheel: Echo TR Front Disk Wheel.

- Rear Wheel: Echo TR Rear Disk Wheel.

- Inner tube (front): Kenda Unboxed 19/20" I regret buying these tubes, they seem a little... small?

- Inner tube (rear): Kenda Unboxed 19/20"

- Front tyre: Monty Eagle claw

- Rear tyre: Echo.

Brakes

- Front Brake: Hope mono (unbraded hose, off ebay possibly 2003?)

- Rear Brake: Hope Mono

Drivetrain

- Cranks: Try-All Expert

- Freewheel: Tensile 60 click

- Chain: KMC Z510g ? (not sure if thats right.) Dad doesn't think this chain will work with my FFW and rear sprocket. - help ?

- Rear Sprocket: Neon 12T Screw On

- Pedals: Onza Caged pedals

- Bottom bracket: Onza BB Off Ebay - 68mm x 127mm

- Bashplate: Echo lite in black.

Steering

- Headset: First Blog Z

- Stem: Echo TR

- Grips: Try-All Foam

- Handlebars: Onza T-master aluminum

What BB have you got in there?

Onza ISIS something or other off ebay 68mm x 127mm.

Mind if i ask why? Not normaly the thing people ask about. I'll write a full spec down.

I just wondered, I need a new BB for my bike at the moment so I guess I' ve just got them on the brain. I had a look at that Onza ISIS one on tarty but not sure if i should go for something more expensive or not.

Anyway your bikes looking good.

Oh right, I got mine off Ebay for 16 or 17 pound posted. Normal trials ones are 68mm x 128mm (if you didn't know :P )

It's actually dual disc not duel.

It's not actually a "duel-disk" frame either.

It's disc too. ;)

Oh thanks guys, I'm supprised someone hasn't corrected me on that already!

You should know me by now, spelling isn't my strong point. I do try though :angel:

EDIT: Ohh i get you now. Ok then its just a 'disc' frame :)

Earliest Mono Trial came out in 2005 I think, that had a braided hose with no plastic outer sheath thing, then in 06 they added the plastic sheath, 07 was the new lever and colour scheme we have now.

Is it not a Kevlar hose? People use them because they're lighter.
