SpoorsyTF
HI, i was just wondering if there was much point in me custom fabricating a seat for my mod, personally i thought it was a good idea but it could be a bit pointless. what do you guys think ? Cheers, SpoorsyTF
Skoze
Put simply; no. There really is no point i can see dude, especially if it's a modern low-slung frame.
Muel
If you want to sit down, take one foot off, so the cranks are vertical, then sit on the free pedal.

eskimo
I have a seat. Screw you seatless people! People may moan about clearance and weight, but my bike weighs nothing anyway, and my knees aren't a fan of bending that much. So it works for me. But its stupid really, they took the seats off for 3 reasons, but even today you can but mods with a seat so why make one?

eskimo
Could you explain how you made yours ? and or any tips for making one ? cheers I have a seattube. So no messing about for me. You can zip tie a railed seat to your frame. Or use foam and tape that round. No idea on weight. But i'll have a bike check up once i weigh it on some digital scales shortly. Matt Vandart
Nick Patience from West Wales bike trials (Idlhans on here) put a seat on his zoo and it's quite cool. I ve got a zoo lynx which is comfy to sit on anyway (obv not when riding) but I often sit on my tyre as long as there is no dog shit on it.
