Canardweb
What I did was getting a bigger bolt in the hole then cut it and drilled a new thread inside...
Matt Vandart
help meee was helicoiling my mounts today , as i was drilling one of them out i found it it had been helicoile before but a bigger helicoil was fitted , thats helicoil pulled out now im left with a hold tht is too big for my m5.8 helicoils .... what can i doo ? x Learn english. Or just an idea here, not 100% sure it'll work but how about getting these: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=11051&category_id=5 and then weld them onto your frame? surely that is a fix? (correct me if im wrong, as im planning on doing it to mine maybe) Im currently using 2 bolts that go through to the other side of the frame, nutted on to keep them in place, looks ugly, but work nonetheless. Steel frame? My suggestion is tap out to M6 and then just file your mounts.
dirt jumper jake
My suggestion is tap out to M6 and then just file your mounts. Precisely what i did to mine, 3/4 mounts are now m6 on my python.
Adam Griffiths
If you wanted all the mounts the same then go to a m6 and helicoil the lot job done.
