martin555
I had a 160mm rotor on the back of my Hydroxx short but couldn’t get it to work no matter how it was set up. So now I’ve finally got this issue resolved and have a 180mm rotor on the back that works but I have to pull the lever nearly all the way to the handle bar to get a good locked break feeling is there anyway of altering this? Could it be that it needs some more break fluid in it? Also does anyone know where I can by a matching 180mm Magura rotor for the front and also a mount? As my bike looks ridiculous with a gigantic rotor on the back and a tiny one on the front.

You need to re bleed the brake!! it needs more fluid but make sure you have the adjustment on the lowest setting to allow more fluid into the system. is this the bat louise? if so have look on the magura website for bleed info as its very long winded and strange

Matt Burrows
If its set up perfectly square and its still spongey, then you have some air in the system. If its just pulling to the bar because of lever flex then try bleeding it with the pistons slightly out (1 or 2mm each side should do it).
