Alex Dark
Guy on OTN posted some pics up of a new try-all mod tyre....around 300g lighter than the previous one - so now around the eagle claw weight. Apparently they're working on a stock one too Actual topic

AdamR28
Adam, do you know when will they be for sale? No, sorry, not heard any news at all since the prototype I got a few months ago.
Revolver
No, sorry, not heard any news at all since the prototype I got a few months ago. Has it worn out yet? Or if not, how much is left?
AdamR28
Plenty left, same compound as the original tyre, but I don't ride very often.
Rusevelt
Looks nice and chunky, though im surprised that TryAll haven't thought about making the tread pattern wrap further down the sidewall where the extra grip could prove beneficial in the comp scene. 3dd
I think most comp riders have plenty of presure in them, so don't think that would make a difference in grip, definetely would make it heavier! How did they save so much weight? Reducing the sidewalls and overall thickness?

It's a nice idea but then you would struggle with frame clearance. That said, I'm sure a low profile fine grip pattern could prove benefical! eskimo
850g! That's pretty impressive. It's about time someone did a 19" that doesn't weigh a kilo.
weirdoku
Depending on price when they are out, I'm buying one.
Toby
i found them too unstable, and maybe i needed more than my usuall pressure but they seem to rim out far too easily, but if they do come out i might try one with more pressure in (this was on Mr Rankins bike) Edited March 24, 2010 by Toby

Mark W
They're doing a light front 26" tyre I seem to recall - I'd imagine they'd do the 20" too?
