Julius Czar
Hey, my front sprocket is rather bent, and I get a fat tight spot, which makes it hard to set up whats the best way to straighten it without damaging it? Cheers. Kieran
Muel
You sure it's the sprocket? You always end up with tight and slack spots. Whats the spec? More than likely just that the tapers and the sprocket thread on the crank arm aren't concentric.

But im pretty sure it is the sprocket, its like four years old, and its a really bad tight spot, like it will go really loose then really tight.. Muel
What are the cranks though? When sprockets bend it doesn't really effect chain legnth in my experience, because the circumference of the sprocket is still the same.

And a few teeth are missing too, think its time for a new sprocket
