LordMersey
At the moment im using an hs33 but i am not finding it to my liking so im thinking of going to double disc because they don't need constant regrinds and adjustments. sstein
I use a magura because it is what there are mounts for on my bike and I have a couple of them. I would be just as happy using a V and have no problem with disc as long as they are set up right! It just comes down to what you like the feel of and what sort of riding you are using it for! Ali C
I use a vee brake as they have the most holding power, easiest brakes to pull, they are also lighter, more adjustable, can get spare parts in supermarkets and I don't get as bad arm pump when in comps. Pads last longer too as they don't wobble around.

Alex Dark
Rear magura --- easier to set-up, lighter, feels nicer than a vee, better bite and adequate hold for me I use a quicksilver 2004 magura, RB blade, Coustsinks and a hope crossover
TrialZonn
I personally use Magura HS33 (the 2005 model) with standard lever blade and HeatSink CNC Yellow pads which are awesome!!!! Easy to setup, great holding power, great sound. I have also tried a disk to the back but I prefer the feeling of the maguras.
Captain Scarlet
Currently running rear disc (Hope Mono trials). I chose it as the performance is very good and never ducks below my expectations randomly, all too often with a Magura my brake would be running awesome then nothing. It is also silent, which compliments the style of riding that I try to achieve, and it also means you can keep the sidewall paint on your rear rim for uber pimpness on your bike.
