uldis
Zhi comes to my mind when someone asks this question. Edit: Thanks to Janis for sharing I have nothing against ZHI, everything is strong only excepting bars. Zhi handlebars are snapping, that's true and you should avoid buying them. But other Zhi parts are very strong, I was running zhi zm2 frame for more than 2 years and didn't have any cracks or something.. and I'm not the lightest rider. Alex Dark
Whats wrong with the sl forks mate? Weak as buggery...known for breaking Were they the echo cnc'd ones? Anywho, what was wrong with these? No, that was the Echo 05's They flatspot very badly due to their relatively flat profile. Weren't the 06's made with rather large holes? Then for 07 they were made a smidge smaller, creating a montrously strong rim? My 07's are 18 months+ old, still true!!! Yes, they have massive holes....far larger than on the 07 rims. The 07s were revised with thicker sidewalls, more rounded and higher profile and a thick ridge on the rim giving them a distinctive look. They;re pretty much bulletproof but insanely heavy...
