alder93
hi, iv just got a couple questions... first. its got hs33 brakes and the rear is touching the rim. iv looked at it(but im useless with hydraulics) and i cant see how the pad can possible move further away from the rim. i think its because the diamondback rims are a different sort of double walled rims. they seem different to the other trials rims iv seen before.. does anyone else run this setup and its ok? iv read some reviews on the tekiya and a few say they snapped. is that off extreme drop-offs? or is it worse than im expecting? thanks!! Sounds like your brake isn't set up properly. follow this video here: Clicky Click! I can't see what else it could be except a badly set up brake

Yeah dude, that probably don't help Or if your wheel isn't centred between your chainstays, it won't be easy to set up Get your wheel sorted and try again if you still can't move them far enough out, you might need to get offset mounts, if you're using 4 bolt magura mounts? Adam Griffiths
I had one of these awful bikes. The only way to stop the rear pads from rubbing on the rim is to grind them down but its a big waste of material. Hope that helped. Also they flex really badly. aidanb93
I had the diamondback all in all i thought it was a good first bike but i have just snapped it after five months ridding. The only reason i found that i could not get clearance for my magura was that the drop outs for the wheel are offset this means the wheel sits closer to one side. What i did was got a spoke key and realigned the wheel so it was central. This gave me clearance. And also with the flex in the frame i brought a two bolt boster from neon cost 16pounds stopped all the flex and made the brake so much better. Hope all this helps Aidan
