Yeh you would be alright to buy one and just use it off road so long as you had permission etc. Licenses are only needed when you want to enter competitions or get on the road.

Video was epic, however I have never really liked raga as much as the other riders for some reason, you have to admire his amazing talent though!!!

You can but it aint really what you want to be riding to work on :P There get registered more for the reason of road trials in which between sections there is road work invloved.

.. as said above, you can road rego them but really only ideal for going between sections on the road when required. The tyres are so soft they wouldn't last 5 minutes if used on the road regularly.

You can get a 5 year old bike for around a grand now, and they are more than capable still. Joining a local trials club will only cost you a fiver or so and entry to comps is about 12 to 15 quid which means you are insured and have somewhere legal to ride.

i have seen several incidents where police just accepts people driving on the roads to theyr practice area, think even theres a special permit for this .

And several incidents where people just dont give a f**k , which is often more likely.

Driving on the road with a mototrial is shit , tires are crap and you burn up the insides of the exhust pipe, not made for that amount of heat,

the bike dies painfully =P
