liam-pantera Posted March 13, 2010 Report Share Posted March 13, 2010 hi , i have a 221 ti with a profile and all you have to do is run the cams on the outside , if your realy conserned about cracking your frame all you need to do it either file , grind or machine the profile end caps for a better fit. Muel Posted March 13, 2010 Report Share Posted March 13, 2010 You mean the freewheel remains still when you spin the wheel foward, and the freewheel clicks away? Completely normal. Just means the freewheel bearings have more friction than the freewheel mechanism, so it sits still with the axle. My Pro2 does it. As long as it turns smoothly and it relatively free, it's fine. eskimo Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 Both should be 110mm. Cams run on the outside. Even if you had to squash it into the dropouts the driver won't be under anymore pressure, due to the spacers/ cones whatever. If the hub has only started doing it, just clean it out and add some light lube. If you can spin the driver by hand without effort when the bolts are full tightened down, then you'll be fine.
