Toby Posted March 9, 2010 Report Share Posted March 9, 2010 (edited) Well heres my new rockman akali, wasnt impressed by the finnish of the paint on the frame, upper part on one side of the chainstay has silver lines down it and 1 or 2 other scratches, but its going to get scratched to buggery anyway so who cares! I can't ride it yet because i have a bad back The back end feels noticably heavier but it is 100% stiffer compared with my white sky which i can definately live with! spec: Wheels:try-all reinforced drilled rear rim on try-all H hub, front try-all holes rim on try-all h disc hub, both on try-all tyres. Steering: try-all forxx with paint stripped, try-all carbon bars, try-all 3d stem and echo sl headset Drivetrain: try-all 165mm cranks, echo sl freewheel, reset titanium bb and try-all superlight caged pedals Brakes: front try-all hope with carbon lever, rear magura with 4 finger lever water bleed and try-all croco yellows in tnn backings Might change the rear rim for a onza pro diamond(weight weenie here! ) Edited March 19, 2010 by Toby Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Those marks wound really weird, if you can get us some photos we'll send them to Rockman and see if we can get you some money off? You can grind the heads down a bit n the snail cam bolts, that will do the trick nicely The reason they hit is because the Try-All hub is so wide...
