Think it depends on how much they cost and how different they are from a standard plate. I remember seeing some when I was looking, that cost over £100,000. Thats just plain silly. They are pretty silly really, although sometimes they can be pretty entertaining. Best I've seen would be P111 KSC (Pink SC) on a pink Smart Car and L09DED (loaded) on some proper chav as f*ck Bentley, the guy looks like such a bell!
