brad1995
I have decided i want a fully silver frame as i am sick of the horrible colour of my t-pro frame, and i was wondering if anyone has any really effective methods of getting the paint off with minimal effort. Also, Would notromorse be strong enough to take the paint off? Thanks.
Fvil
Paint remover would do, should be able to get it in most places, I did it recently "Made it all nice and new looking " make sure you leave the paint remover on for enough time though, otherwise you will just have to do it again!! You will need something to clean it with, I used white spirit
jt123
Nitromorse and wire wool.
monkeyseemonkeydo
Which t-pro is it? The browny/greeny ones were anodised which will alter what you need to do.
Nick Melson
halfway through doing mine if its same frame as mine [ http://www.flickr.com/photos/nick_melson/4400964293/ ] then its fairly easy just nitromorse and a paint brush to apply and i used scouring pads and to rub of , it gets fairly hard trying to get the paint of the welds and in the bash mounts and stuff but it comes of after a while. brad1995
I have just looked at that soda stuff and it's apparently really dangerous. I think i may have to pass because I'm the kinda dosey person that will spill it all over me .
Revolver
Caustic soda is evil stuff... if you spill it on yourself, water won't cure it.
