Adam-Griffin
I used Ie until about a year ago, at which point I switched to Firefox. I was perfectly happy with it in that I could COMPLETELY personalize it to my taste and needs then i somehow managed to download a virus or something and Firefox was constantly opening new tabs full of ads and just general shit so i downloaded chrome and got on Ok with it, I like the way everything appeared so much bigger cause of the lack of a tab bar, and a other things about it. Initially I was reluctant to download opera, however I've just downloaded it now and I'm seriously impressed so far, mainly at the size of everything and the way it fits my screen. Planning on trying a few others too, see which I prefer.
Rusevelt
The fastest browser just got faster, OPERA 10.51 is now available to download. Significantly faster than opera 10.50.
Bronz
Firefox offers a good experience but it's a bit heavy for everyday browsing. I only really use it because of the web developer addons it has. Chrome would be the better alternative for the non-web developing used I'd say. If you're just browsing it's nice and fast, Firefox is pretty slow if you get too many addons running, plus there's the memory leaks and what-not. I would suggest that your PC is slow if it runs Firefox badly. Mine runs at least three times faster than IE and that's with a few plugins running! Mine runs at least three times faster than IE and that's with a few plugins running! Nah, my PC is fine. IE is deadly slow full stop, but in Ff I have loads of plugins/addons. Page rendering is nice and quick, but with over a dozen tabs and just as many plugins it gets bad in general. And like I said, memory leaks and stuff, it eats into the CPU usage something terrible. However, as great as it is, it's a bit of beast compared to Chrome, Opera and even Safari. Safari's got some issues as well but I love its full text history search. We don't mention IE... I use FF on both my desktop and my netbook, and I can tell that it renders slower on the netbook. Identical plugin/addon setup on both because I develop on both. I would try Opera on the netbook to speed things up a bit, but I sync all my bookmarks between all three of my computers using the Xmarks plugin, and I couldn't sync them in Opera. LukasMcNeal
I usually use FF, and just a minute ago downloaded Opera and chrome, so far chrome has literally raped FF and Opera at speed! Even with opera in turbo mode.
