Byrscok
Hi...this frames have cool design and onza have intresting geo but i don't know much about them ...guys can you help ? Edited March 2, 2010 by Byrscok
Savage
I rode an onza limey 3 frame for most of last year, It is a nice frame but its nothing compared to the Slate. I have been riding a Slate for 2 months now and its easily the best frame I’v ever rode. My riding has improved quite a bit since I made the change. You also have to consider the top tube problems on the Limey 3, if you want a frame thats going to ride well and last get the Slate.

walker
Obviously you'll think my opinion is biased, but everything Ben says is true! Even if he was a beast on the Limey as well!
Ali C
I agree with Ben, not ridden a limey I liked yet.

craigjames
Top tube issues with the Limeys have been sorted, unlike the folding downtubes on the Rockmans; not denying the one i've ridden ride well just prefer my Limey.

Dont think the Limey 3's with the fixed top tube are out yet. The Limey 3 down tube is no stronger than the one on the Rockman. I have ridden both and bashed both so im in a fair position to compare the two. Ben.

nyoli
it depends on the version of the slate, in my opinion salte I vs limey >> limey slate II vs limey >> salte II
Alex Dark
i have a white limey 3 i got in november whats this problem with the top tubes on them are they bending or something first i heard about it til i just read this The Black / Silver Limey had issues with the top-tube cracking where the hose routing was. This has been remedied with a thicker top-tube

I've also ridden both, landed pretty damn hard on the downtube of my Limey on the down tube on pointy rocks, walls, rails etc with only paint chips seen a couple rockmans dent quite badly with not a lot of impact at all. But hey.
pashleylips
Ive had my slate for a few months now and there is no doubt about it that it is pure love. Rides so so well, but I do have to agree the downtubes are incredibly weak. I hit a wall the other night fairly hard but nothing major and its left me with one beaut of a dent! But then it is a comp frame so what do you expect.....? Bloody glad i got mine secondhand!
