Skinzie
Hello, Ive been currently looking at a SARACEN on Ebay, not a clue on what to get lol... I dont know what model it is apart from it has a "2.Six" sticker on the frame, is this any good? Also, would the brakes (as there being V brakes) be the best thing to upgrade 1st as im looking into some Magura HS33 rear brake at the moment The bike is going for £150 second hand, seems in good condition. Anyone Help please? thanks <

AlexxRogers
Doesn't look to bad if that's what your after, however I would suggest getting a trials specific brand of bike, e.g, Onza, Yaabaa, Monty, etc. Just because they have been designed for trials, but again, its all about what you're after, that's just my opinion. V-brakes seem to be the way forward at the moment, if they're set up right, they can work just as well, if not better than a Magura HS33, take Damon Watson's front brake for example. If they don't work too well, your best bet is to get some Spanishfly pads, or Rock CNC Pads. I'm not too experienced, so it's best to wait for other peoples opinions. 6ft-midget
Yeah seems sound mate, plus the M.A.D bikes have a nice geo too as well if i remember correctly. As said you could keep v-brakes because if they're set up properly they're just as good as if not better than maggies.

Heeeeeeeelp! xxx Your Free wheel, if it doesn't have good engagement, if it does, then id get a rear sealed hub if it doesn't have one already , and go from there. You should be okay with that as it is for learning on, and when you improve get different/better parts. If you need help, just email me, or add me on MSN or something. Pads I've covered. You should be okay now. Hope getting a bike goes well, and I look forward to see you riding trials! Alex.
jordan allsop
Doesn't look to bad to me but if i was you i would get someting like a monty, zoo or onza one of the bigger brand. Also it depends on what you want to ride natrul or street. If you set up the v-brakes right, they can work just as well as a Magura HS33 the pads you want to get for the v-brakes or Spanishfly pads they work good in all weather. Also get other peoples opinions to.
