Theo
much appreciated if anybody can help! Sam- I flew over to france with mine, you cant really get to ausie any other way unless you like the sea, haha. The price was a standard luggage price but I didnt pay any extra for it to be kept safe, if your planing on flying remember to let your tyres down! LukasMcNeal
If your moving over there are you getting your furniture/stuff shipped? is so put it in with that. Or take it on the plane as sports equipment/luggage. I'm guessing you'll fly with qantas? is so check here http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/sporting-equipment/global/en

JT!
Take it with you on the plane. I brought mine with me when I came here. Didn't charge me a penny. Mind you I only had one suitcase. If you have two suitcases you might get charged. Just pack it out in a box, take the stem off the steerer and the front wheel. Back wheel isn't necessary but means you can use a slightly smaller box. Take the pedals off too. Then pad it out with polystyrene like crazy. Letting air out of the tires isn't necessary too, that rule is more for high pressure road tires, the difference in air pressures big fat trials tires won't make a difference. Laurence--Trials
In natural places like Forists and things personly i wouldnt serjest it purely because of the spiders snakes etc etc. Im not scaird of spiders Its because of the size, colours and fangs But man made places (ill use brisbine for an eg' then go onto sidney and some small villages) Brisbine is fantastic theres rocks put by the river with a big side walls to dop off, side hop up pedal kick up etc i saw a fair bit of brisbine and it mainly seems to be the out-skirts that have to good riding spots as the inner city seems to be all sky scrapers. Small towns seem alright to ride i'm not joking every single town i went to had a skate park if your into the 24" or bmx stuff too! Even the most remote places have fantastic places to ride that beat my village and surrounding villages too for riding spots. I would have killed to have even a small ride in these places, They have benches, wooden and metal poles, concrete ditches to gap, you have the lot there! Sidney: Sidney is a fantastic place also (yes i know I've said that about everywhere:P ) It's a normal city really, Including the brill places to ride in the center of Sidney. (sorry for the basic description on Sidney) If you have any questions Feel free to ask me. oh and sorry for the essay Laurence. EDIT: where abouts are you moving to? totaltrials
Fedex will deliver it by air for £146. Although I don't know why you don't take it with you as luggage/sport equipment.
PeanuckleJive
Also i've read that if u let ur tyres down, if they drop the box it can put flat spots in ur rims ? aye, but if you leave your tyres pumped up they can expand and explode because the hold isn't pressurised like the cabin is If you pack your bike up good, They'd have to do some serious chucking to damage it And if they do damage it, you can probably claim as long as you show that you packed it well and prevented damage as much as you could
Dean_Monty_Kamel
hi mate, I took my bike to OZ in march last yr, i stayed in brissy and met le the guy who makes the TNN stuff, hes cool, also a guy called reid, and tim who ownes Expressive bikes. These guys are all in Brisbane, thats where i was, i went for a holl and comp, south bank in brissy is great to ride! One tip i would recomend is, make sure your tyres are clean!!! as they are hot on contaminated tyres coming into the county case the mud on your tyres are from farms with diseases on etccc......(its to protect there wildlife) UPS was cheap for me, they pick it up from your house etc. Hope it helped!
