braderzz.p
hi all i have not tryed this yet, however my friend has. he was trying to get smoother and had no way of doing it so i told him to have a really low psi in his tyres and do all his normal gaps and drop ect and try not to rim out. So he done that for about 2 weeks and gapped and droped over and over again now he is realy smooth and back on his normal psi . so it may not work for all of you but it did him so just give it a try one day and see what happends. hope it helps
N.Wood
Thanks for the tip Though to be honest no one gives a shit how smooth you are these days as long as you can sidehop.
Borat
For some reason, when I'm running my rear vee. I'm smooth as f**k, but with maggie I'm a basher. Thats what I love about vee's, you (mostly) adapt to the alot less amount of bite, and become alot smoother.

MikeCottTrials
I smooth on things I can do easily and not smooth on things I struggle with. It's the same for everyone, I think what your talking about is more style
ogre
disc brakes make your riding look smoother. it never hurts to ride with a more delicate style it'll help your parts last longer
weirdoku
I thought I was pretty smooth when I ran smooth maggie on my rear. Now that I've grind it, it's like I'm breaking everything.
manuel
I would have to say - go with the opposite.... pump your tyres up to the max and make your brakes as harsh as possible and then try and ride smooth... I think most people go with - trying not to break stuff - which usually amounts to the same.

Cahill Trials Kid
I think smoothness does matter not just how high people can sidehop, 1 - sidehops are sh*t 2 - i would much rather watch someone do smaller things but be as smooth as hell, than watch someone do big things but be realy rough and heavy ! Mark W
The basis of being 'smooth' is just having good technique though, so if you want to be smoother get your technique dialled on smaller stuff, then move on to bigger stuff. You're generally going to be harsher on the bigger stuff you do, which is pretty natural, but a lot of people seem to rush through the basics and just try and do bigger and bigger TGSy stuff which is when people start getting fully bashery. If you want to get smoother, get your technique right basically.
