so here are the 2 bikes that i want to do but dont know witch one i should do. So i put it to you.

What bike shall i do?

The leeson will be geared with d521 rims and hop xc hubs. thats what i mean by old skool

The ashton will be done with drilled rims, disc brakes and single speed.

Here are some pics of what they used to look like.

Seriously... You can't ask people to answer that.

It's down to how you want to ride

Only people other than you that could answer that is anyone you ride with a LOT, as they MIGHT know which'd suit your style more.

So true.....build one...if you don't like it, build the other.

I'd personally go for the Ashton every time :)

Hang on, why not both?

I cant do both as i only have the cash for one.

I've owned an Ashton & thought it was pretty crap, it's too long/steep head angle for anything remotely proper street, and if you want it for hoppy tappy stuff there's loads of better frames for that.

Yes i know its not the best street or the best natural bike out there but i just like the way it is in the middle and i like the feel of both.

This is probably not going to go down well, and it's the first time I've said it publicly on here - there is nothing good about how Leesons look. The tubing's all out of proportion with each other looks wise, they were never really that strong and I only ever rode one that felt alright to ride...
