-Pete-
Bit of a retarded question but what difference would good quality brake levers make? I read somewhere that it would be wise to get some decent levers if you're going to upgrade your brakes, which I'm trying to do. Hopefully someone can shed some light? Cheers, Pete

Disk for the front and V for the back. I'm assuming that you could use the same levers for both? Edited February 20, 2010 by -Pete-
PeanuckleJive
Disk for the front and V for the back. I'm assuming that you could use the same levers for both? Only if it's a cable disc ^^ Good quality levers generally do help your brakes a bit, have you tried setting them up properly?

Yeah, the breaks on my bike are pretty shocking (was only a £150 bike, can't expect anything fantastic). So I was going to upgrade the breaks, probably with Avid single digit 7s for the back and a decent cable disk brake for the front. I just wasn't sure if I should get some good quality levers whilst I was upgrading the breaks themselves.
PeanuckleJive
Try giving them a proper good set up first, and grind your rim if you wanna upgrade your brakes, you can't go wrong with a magura hs33
