CriminalTrials.co.uk
Hey all Quick questions, hoping for a quick answer seen as my hubs apart now and i need to get it back together for todays ride. My Chris King hub, im about to "grease" the engagement threads instead, Tarty reccomend finish line chain lubs cos its really thin, If i remember correctly that is. But i don't have any, all i have is normal chain lube (sticky stuff) and some dry chain lube... Could i use either of those or am i best just leaving it until i can get some xc stuff? Thanks Dan

CriminalTrials.co.uk
Don't use anything thick or sticky. Wont a LBS have anything? Hmm, thats what i thought. Closest bike shop is quite far away.. and dont fancy doing it during the ride lol. You think it will be ok just putting it back together without putting anything on? I mean ive cleaned them up... Skoze
Go to Halfords/ your LBS and get some finish line lube, works really really well. Don't cut corners when it comes to hubs!
