dErZ
I was bought a mad 1.3 for my birthday and I have bought some bits to upgrade it. The avid BB7 185 I got from chainreaction doesnt appear to fit? is this because the fork is an odd shape? or am I being a MONG!!! I fitted countless other brakes to my other bikes (Orange 5 and On-One Inbred) and never had a problem. The disc doesnt sit inside the caliper, the adapter is the right way up as you can see from the pix, Any help or ideas greatly appreciated. Laurence--Trials
Only a guess. But from the looks of things you need a larger disk rotor. Laurence.
Borat
What size is that brake rotor?
stunt man t
I no then adaptor is the right way up but have you tried turning it round? the caliper would be lower and it might work? and you wont lose anything if it dont (just a thought) lol
Borat
You've got the wrong adaptor mate. Thats for the rear, hence the R 185.
Ali C
check in the box, there should be another adaptor for the front (at least all the brakes we sell do)
Alex Dark
That adaptor effectively gives you a 185 rear brake...or a 205 front. You'll need to downsize your adaptor to a 185 front....or buy a 203mm rotor and take a washer out.
