Inspired Foruplay

Dont have one, never rode one,

but i would say its the best 24" you can get :)

and think most people will agree !

Fantastic response.

They are nice frames to ride, but due to every rider enjoying a different feel of ride its hard to say that you'll instantly get on with one. They are very flicky, depending on the set-up you are running obviously, and reasonable light also. Great for street, and also equally fun at the skatepark. It all depends on what kind of riding style you have, or want.

the ashton effect is good, didnt think much of it realy but i took a gamble and got it and i love it, front brake that came on it was crap and the chain skiped alot, like all that time, you couldnt even go up a hill, but i shortened the chain and it worked a treat, some different gearing on it would be good, maybe a 14 or 15 on the back, something like that oh and the bars are a bit short but apart from that it is a great bike. would of loved a inspired but couldnt afford it but i would say if you cant afford a inspired i would go for a ashton effect because if you cant afford a inspired then you wont be able to afford a adamant, echo or czar.

The inspired fourplay is a very gd frame, ive ridden about 3 of them and never had a problem. The geo is perfect and the bb rise feels great for manuals. The setup with riser bars and a short stem gives a very flickable ride. You can ride it just like a bmx at skateparks or even on the street. Also setup with a light set of wheels, sun rims or trialtech on hope hubs.

Comes in a great range of colours, White, blue and racing green.

Also if you bought the frame you shud get the fork to go with, as its very strong and beats any fork out there for last longing.

There just like a bmx or dirt jump kinder fork but lighter.

Can anyone give a proper run down or review on what the Inspired is like for pure TGS-y style riding?

I mean, say if I want to ride natural or join the inch-pinching sidehoppers on streetrides and such.

I know that stem/bar setup will change the feel of it totally, but say we put the ideal TGS-suited bar/stem combo on the Inspired... how does the frame in response handle? I heard from somewhere that the cockpit feels a bit cramped for things like gaps and stuff?

Id say get a Because trial....the inspired is just not designed for TGS no matter how much people will tell you it's adaptable.

Ive had several frames over the last 10 years and the inspired foreplays geometry is AWESOME, waaaay more flickable than the stock 26" frames (mostly because of the steeper head angle) Also the new echo 24" frames have basically the same geometry and ride exactly the same (especially the Czar)

Put it this way...i despise TGS (not what it stands for but what in reality it has become) and i have never had so much fun on a bike as i do on my Inspired.

For inch pinching, natural, sidehops etc an Inspired will only hold you back compared to a mod/stock. For the way i ride however an Inspired is the perfect solution. For rolling moves, big bunnyhops, lines, fun riding an Inspired does the job beautifully. I can see no reason why if you're a TGS'er why you'd choose an Inspired. Likewise, if you're a fast, street rider who enjoys the type of riding by Danny Mac, Dave Marshall, John Shrewsbury etc then you wouldn't go for a Monty Kamel etc.....

The frame responds great, and yes the cockpit is cramped - thats what's good about it. It horses for courses mate.

IF you want to ride about and do moves at speed, without continual stopping, hopping etc then get an Inspired. If your always static then don't bother.

Stan and I have been riding our Echos on natural recently, and they're really fun! The geometry is really, really similar to the Inspired and they do feel pretty similar, so I'd say that they'd be an accurate representation. Either way - they're a lot of fun on natural. You're not going to win any comps on one, but you'll enjoy yourself a hell of a lot which is essentially the point of riding. Riding Blackpool's Moonrocks brakeless with Ali and Stan was probably one of the most fun days of riding I've had, it was so good! So yeah, if you're thinking of getting one then don't be put off riding natural - it's still very do-able.

Yeah i should clarify that i'm not syaing you can't take an Inspired off tarmac. What i meant was under the previous guys perception of natural/tgs then an Inspired isn't an ideal suiter compared to others. However we've all seen how Ackrigg rides natural and i can see an Inspired being perfect for that. I've taken mine away from town centres and into dirty muddy areas and it was the same fun, however the odd thing was frustrating as i felt a bit limited, however i'd rather have a bike that suits me for 99% of what i was doing and only a slight inconvenience 1% of the time, then buying a what is by all accounts primarily a street/fun bike for pure TGS.

I found it was sort of the opposite, in that stuff that on my mod I just wouldn't give a shit about suddenly became much more interesting. You can do more - for what of a better term - 'f**k about' stuff on natural too, like add in spins and manuals and stuff like that that ordinarily you probably wouldn't or couldn't on a traditional bike. It's still pretty good for more serious stuff though, just in an old school way.

Regarding the bit about it being 99% useful and 1% annoying (not a direct quote obviously :P) - I guess if you're considering an Inspired you'd probably be more into streety shit anyway, with maybe an itch to go and ride natural once in a while. In related news, can't wait to ride Shipley on my Echo on the weekend! Rode Blackburn last night and all the rocks there, and Ali and Stan were doing some mental shit. Really, really need to film...
