mad_gavo
Good find, interesting to see the place I have spent so much money with over the years! Edited February 16, 2010 by mad_gavo
Brisa
I legged it out the workshop door with a load of boxes when I seen the cameras come out!
Greetings
That's insanely large. So large in fact that it's probably no longer fun to run like having a small store can be.

craigjames
Looks an amazing set up, the systems in place to ensure that orders go out correctly must be damn solid, very very impressive. But have to agree, there's something really fun about working at a smaller shop.

Wouldn't you like to see your store end up like that, employing hundreds of people in a time where jobs are hard to come by, and be f**king rich yourself so you have time to pursue other things (like opening a little shop?) Yes and no. Managing anything that big is a massive responsibility. Money is one thing, it really depends on what for you is most important. You can be rich and have a completely ruined life because you have no time for your family and work turns you into a nervous wreck. Call me unambitious but I'd rather earn less and feel like a free man.
Vasil
Now we can see that people spend pretty much money for their bikes even in crisis.

The stress of running a big business can really take its toll. I'd rather be happy and poor then sad and rich.

An interesting watch anyway, strange to think that we were up against them in the BikeBiz awards the last 2 years
tomturd
funny how stuff still takes about a week to get to you I've always been impressed with their delivery, free & normally next day - even though they're in Ireland. Maybe it helps living in S. Wales.
Papa Manual
They used to get stuff to me in the Channel Islands within a couple of days.
Muel
funny how stuff still takes about a week to get to you I've been using them for about 7 years now, not once have I had an issue with anything being late, or even had to send anything back. shamus
best service i've ever encountered, in cycling and in other business. very efficient whilst still being personal and accessible, they answer the phones promptly and help out if you have a query so glad to hear they're reaping the rewards of such an excellent business! also i live in the south west where the royal mail/couriers hate driving as its got shite access, yet they are NEVER late
Ross McArthur
Ben Travis and myself are heading over there this weekend do put on a wee show for CRC in Belfast. Im looking forward to having a look around the ware house.
Brisa
Yeah, that is true. Notice that the guy in the video was the managing director though, the owner was nowhere to be seen... An interesting watch anyway, strange to think that we were up against them in the BikeBiz awards the last 2 years Funny thing is that George Watson the owner will be found most days in the wheelroom building wheels as he has done from the start. The reigns have been passed more to his son Chris but he still has a very active part in the business. Its what he enjoys. Ross, look forward to meeting you and Ben tomorrow if your up at CRC

Well, if you business got to big, just sell it and start with a little shop again with a hefty amount in your bank account. Be rich and free!
