CurtisRider
My chain keeps snapping even though its new (well, barely ridden), kinda odd as ive had the same model before with no issues, its a taya thing. I want a new chain and cant decide what to get, i dont use my mtb much, and its generally for dry weather only as im gay. Cheaper the better within reason, will pay extra for quality

Tomm
Just get a SRAM one. From what I've seen, the cheaper ones are slightly better anyway - they're simply more metal so they last a bit longer than some of the more expensive ones. Chains are about the only thing that SRAM does better than Shimano IMO.
Ben John-Hynes
What Tomm said. Sram PC951 chain. Majorly cheap and really good quality!
CurtisRider
Ordered the sram as the gold was a touch too pricey for how often i use the bike! Thanks everybody for your help
Ben John-Hynes
Order from CRC?
craigjames
Aye never use anything but sram chains for the MTB. Seem to shift better than anything weather you're running a Sram or Shimano block.

Tomm
I've actually been using the XTR / Dura Ace chains (the only XTR part on my bike ) because they don't rust. Seem to last quite well too, but they're not as cheap n cheerful as the SRAM ones. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=1018
